Jr. Buyer

**OBJECTIVE**Negotiates and Contracts the purchase of raw materials and/or otherunprocessed goods for processing, machinery, equipment, tools, parts, other supplies andservices necessary for the operation of the Organization.**MAIN FUNCTIONS**:1. Executes the Action Messages (Releasing Purchasing Orders, Expediting, Pushing or Canceling)2. Reviews requisitions, as well as bids, interviewing vendors to obtain information concerning products, prices, guarantees and delivery dates.3. Selects purchase items through several evaluation methods (Best Bid, Mejor Postor), formulating detailed RFP’s (Request for Proposals), requesting samples for testing, random sampling incoming materials, Vendor Rating Programs, Vendor Certification, etc.4. Keeps records pertaining to items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance and inventory levels.5. Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the Purchasing Function.**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:Bachelor degree**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:1 to 3 years within Purchasing Area and Materials Planning.**LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY**:Advanced/fluent**COMPUTER USAGE**: Intermediate (Use of OFFICE: Word, Excel, Power Point,Etc.)Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoHorario:- Turno matutinoLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
