The main area covers production site expansions or major building modifications at several locations in the world. The department also delivers support and guidance to the Local Facility organization.Our production factory in Monterrey has been growing over years. This trend continues with several ongoing projects and some in preparation phase. The Sr. Construction Project Manager is responsible for the execution of an assigned building project at this site. Management of wide variety of local and global key partners has to be considered as key factor to deliver successful building project within the LEGO Group to enable future growth of the company.**Core Responsibilities**This person is going to be responsible for construction stream managing expansion projects within LEGO premises in Monterrey, MX with project coordination towards other project owners as well as internal and external partners.The person will plan and perform project and steering committee meetings and partner information, or support on these tasks in accordance to Project Organization. Also, using external Design Company and Consultants deliver design package including all required building permits.Having constant evaluation of the existing risk and adequate mitigation.Ensure strong involvement being responsible to define tender scope of works package. Manage civil works construction or M&E installation works. Manage handover of completed building to the other streams such as logistics, warehouse, local facility management.Implement and manage change requests from the client to the project. Responsible for Budget control**Skills required**- Bachelor´s or MSC degree in construction management, architecture, building/facility management or civil engineering- 10 to 15 plus years’ experience preferably around the same field of practice.- Experience as an overall project manager of industrial building projects.- Worked in international /multinational companies.- Knowledge in legal and commercial aspects within building industry. Knowledge of European construction standards is a plus.- Language: Advanced English.
