**MISSION of ROLE**Identify new business opportunities in Mexico and drive beyond-market growth. You will grow the knowledge of the value chain within specific market segments and develop differentiated solutions and service that will help the customers to be more profitable and grow.**DUTIES**1 - Prioritize selling efforts and capture any growth or business opportunities2 - Collaborate in the definition and execute the commercial strategy in Mexico to -within 3 years - lead the development of the strategy, in alignment with the region’s trends and dynamics3 - Anticipate and capture mega trends that transform markets and assist (new) customers in winning those, e.g. Sustainability. Crucial will be to understand the entire value creation chain, the diversity of stakeholders involved, and the network companies operate in4 - Execute sales strategies and action plans for identified targets, aligned to marketing plans, business plans5 - Create, develop and maintain key relationships with new customers and/ or partners to understand their objectives & business well enough to describe the value that company creates in their language; act as “Trusted Advisor”6 - Stay up-to-date with your company’s market share, competitor market share and available market share by product market, including competitive Pricing information7 - Forecast sales8 - Maintain the initiated interactions with the customers, and handling continued sales and contract renewals.**Job Requirements**- Education: Chemical / Industrial Engineer- Experience of 5-10 years as sales representative position in Regional / Local companies with presence in Mexico, such as Dow Chemical, BASF, LyondellBasell (Advance Polymers), Local compounders & moulding.- Knowledge and technical understanding of plastic resins, molding operations and customer uses.- Experienced in B2B sales in markets such as, Automotive, Retail, Home & Garden, and preferable Building & Construction and, Logistics & SC.- Proven track record in creating and executing Top Line (Revenue) growth strategies based on deep understanding of market drivers, trends, opportunities, and competitive positions.- Demonstrated track record of closing businesses at levels above sales quota by understanding customer needs and identifying crucial parameters to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions.- Good knowledge of Value Based Marketing/ Solutions Selling- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time**Key Competencies**- Languages: Spanish & English- Continually striving for excellence, never satisfied with status-quo - a self-starter;- Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as contract management- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
