Here, you will make an impact by:- Driving the improvement of existing product quality through the use of continuous improvement methods and tools such as: Six Sigma, Product and Process Understanding (PPU), Design of Experiments (DOE), Customer Quality Index (CQI), Test Method Validation (TMV), Manufacturing Line Validation (OQ, IQ, PQ, PPQ).- Supporting and interacting with customers through complaint investigations, troubleshooting, trend analysis, test investigations, and the disposition of non-conforming products.- Leading/attending internal and/or external audits.- Ensuring that the intended design of the marketed product and product integrity are maintained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications change.- Supporting design changes inspired by quality improvement, changes in the source of supply, or cost-reduction efforts.- Representing the customer and helping to drive and foster a quality mindset and environment throughout the organization.**Your skills and experience**To be successful in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry from an accredited institution with 5 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance.- In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:- Statistical knowledge, familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.- Previous experience in quality systems.- Hands-on knowledge of root cause analysis tools and techniques.- Knowledge of the Change Control system and risk analysis.- Advanced English proficiency.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).**Additional skills/knowledge that could help you succeed in this role include**:- Experience supporting and interacting with customers through complaint investigations, resolution, trends, and implementing corrective actions.- Certification as a lead auditor in ISO 13485 or ISO 9001.- Experience supporting design changes inspired by quality improvement, changes in the source of supply, or cost-reduction efforts.- Troubleshooting, test investigations, and disposition of non-conforming products.**Among your skills are Leadership, Strong Communication Skills, Results-Oriented, Teamwork, Data-Oriented, People-Focused****Work location**:- **Onsite on Guadalupe Plant****Travel: 10% national and international****Relocation Assistance: Not authorized****Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).****Supporting Your Well-being**Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
