Senior Statistical Programmer (Mexico & Argentina - Hybrid) Join Syneos Health, a leading biopharmaceutical solutions organization building to accelerate customer success. We are looking for a Senior Statistical Programmer based in Mexico or Argentina to work in a hybrid model, available two days per week in our Mexico City or Buenos Aires offices. Job Responsibilities Must be located in Mexico or Argentina, with ability to work 2 days per week in the Mexico City or Buenos Aires office. Use SAS or other software to develop custom programming code for summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets according to statistical analysis plans and programming specifications. Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements; perform validation programming and collaborate with programmers, biostatisticians, and other team members to resolve discrepancies. Maintain project documentation, testing, and verification/quality control documents to ensure inspection readiness. Manage scheduling across multiple projects, set priorities, and adapt to changing timelines. Develop specifications for datasets and outputs of any complexity, anticipate programming issues, and document variable definitions thoroughly. Prepare for internal meetings, contribute ideas, and respect the opinions of others. Conduct and lead internal meetings, distribute minutes, and follow up on action items. Act as lead statistical programmer, directing programming activities of other personnel and monitoring deliverables. Review project documentation such as statistical analysis plans, mock shells, programming specifications, and CRFs, providing feedback that reduces inefficiencies. Participate in sponsor meetings, kickoff meetings, and bid defense sessions as the statistical programming representative. Mentor programming personnel, develop training materials, and guide new associates. Minimal travel may be required. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and programming experience. Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English. Summary Roles within the Statistical Programming family develop programs and provide statistical programming support for statisticians or client and business teams, creating analysis datasets, tables, figures, and evaluating programming processes to increase productivity.
