IT Network Specialist

Along with protecting against destructive attacks and data exfiltration, it also helps businesses cut costs, simplify their infrastructure, and improve the user experience by getting rid of a lot of internal processes.**Role Description**We are looking to hire an energetic, highly motivated, can-do attitude individual who enjoys networking and establishing relationships to join our team as Project Manager. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team of talented professionals with a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm.**This is a Part-Time, 100% remote contract role, with potential for a full-time role in the future.****Responsibilities**:- Design, Configure, and install the best Networking solutions for business and Clients/Enterprises.- Monitor the network firewall, assess the functionality of the network routers, ensure all Internet security software is updated regularly.- Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operational.- Provide deployment advisory services, such as best practice design advice, and configurations, among other things.- Assist clients with testing and troubleshooting during the deployment process. As needed, escalate to higher levels of help.- Replicate client concerns in order to validate problems and document methods to duplicate for the Support, Engineering, and Operations teams.**Qualifications**- Previous job experience in a similar role (at least 3 years) (e.g. Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Support Engineer).- Technical bachelor's degree and/or similar work experience are the very minimum requirements.- Perform network modeling and analysis, enforce policies for standardizing systems- Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance- Implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data networks- Comfortable conversing with businesspeople about technical topics/issues and conversing with technical people about business topics/issues Capable of communicating difficult ideas in easy terms in order to reach a wider audience.- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities both internally and externally inside and across organizational boundaries.- Professional expertise architecture and running solutions based on (in descending order of preference): Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).- VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM are the hypervisors with which you should be familiar (in that order).- familiarity with identities and access management technologies such as LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory, OKTA and other SAML (SSO) tools.- Adaptable to a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS X, and GNU/Linux- Knowledge of network debugging tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Traceroute, and MTR, as well as practical experience with them**Additional Information**All of your information will be treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with EEO requirements.**What You Can Expect From Us**- You will be working in an atmosphere where you will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and architecture.- A workplace that is enjoyable, enthusiastic, and collaborative.**Why Doit Security?**People that succeed at Doit Security are intelligent, driven, and committed to our core principles.
