The Sr. Business Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Sr. Business Analyst may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.**Responsibilities**:- Summarize budgets and submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requests- Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls- Review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with procedures and regulations- Monitor the preparation of regular and special budget reports- Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis and fiscal allocation- Analyze budgetary/accounting data and provide financial recommendations- Gather and verify accuracy of financial records**Qualifications**:- 2-5 years of business analysis experience required- Experience creating documentation within standard development methodology- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills**Education**:- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.**Knowledge/Experience**:- Good understanding of Business Operations / Business Management concepts and procedures- Experience in banking infrastructure/technology is desirable- Budget management/finance basic knowledge- Knowledge of Agile practices- Experience working with external vendors is desirable- Experience in compiling, analyzing, and reporting data and information- Experience in events logistics**Skills**:- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate to senior management- Able to carry out projects end to end with mínimal supervision- Able to learn quickly and follow process and self-starter with problem solving ability- Positive attitude with the commitment to get the work done- Detail oriented individual who has confidence with reports, metrics and presentations- Capable to adapt constantly to change in demand- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate to senior management- Work cooperatively with others**Qualifications**:Qualifications include, but are not limited to:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications or Computer Sciences- +3 years of experience on Business Management, Human Resources or related field- Advanced English speaking and writing skills- Proficiency on MS Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint- **Job Family Group**:Business Strategy, Management & Administration- **Job Family**:Business Administration- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.
