**Job Description**:**Job ID**:- **Company**:- Siemens, S.A. de C.V.**Organization**:- Country Functions & Departments**Job Family**:- Finance**Experience Level**:- Experienced Professional**Full Time / Part Time**:- Full-time**Remote vs Office**:- Hybrid (Remote/Office)**Contract Type**:- Permanent**Key Responsibilities**:Responsible to assure that the assigned Company/Division complies with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS), strong communication skills, value added, business partner approach, focussing on safeguarding company's financial statements.**Education**:University Degree in Accounting, ideally certified as Public Accountant by Mexican Institute of Public Accountants**Current Activities**:- Prepare monthly financial statements in Mexican NIF for assigned companies. Reconcile them with IFRS reporting to Corporate HQ.- Prepare yearly statutory financial statements for assigned companies.- Control and instruct transactional accounting activities accounts payable (3rd party and within Siemens group), accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, closing & reporting including general ledger on a monthly basis.- Engage in all assigned monthly closing activities, prepare / review and instruct monthly General Ledger entries, review large variation of provision and other general ledger account as per established LoA.- Realize quarterly balance sheet reviews for assigned companies and Divisions, establish and see through corrective actions and present findings / actions to Management- Execute internal control (RIC) related with accounting processes**Knowledge**:Knowledge of IFRS / NIF accounting standards, including revenue recognition know-how, accrual / provision, as well as on valuation and accounting for FX and inventory.IT literacy with ERP systems (ideallly SAP) as well as Access, Power BI, Excel / Pivot Tables required. Employ basic Word, Power Point, and Intranet Applications (e.g. Sharepoint). English proficiency orally and in written.**Experience**:Big 4 or comparable audit firm employment with at least 5 years as senior Position. Ideally, with subsequent experience at an industrial (manufacturing, construction) multinational company in an accounting management position. Preparation of financial statements in IFRS / Mexican NIF standards, calculation of current and deferred tax and social security. Accounting for long-term, project business.**Key working relationships**:- Division, large Business unit controllers- Interface to external and internal auditor.- Direct Report to Accounting Team Lead.
