More than 30,000 organizations already rely on us to verify the identities of people and things, grant access to digital services, analyze vast quantities of information and encrypt data to make the connected world more secure.Data EngineeringCANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS USPROFILE:You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science, or any other relevant field in University, and you have significant experience in Data AnalysisYou demonstrate motivation, autonomy and initiativeYou show great availability and strong responsivenessYou are recognised as a team-player and enjoy collaborative workCOMPETENCIES:You have a deep understanding of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MapReduce, LongoDB, Cassandra )You have a deep understanding of CloudYou master the following elements (non-exhaustive):Knowledge and configuration of SQL database systems (Oracle, MySql, PostgreSQL...) and ability to adapt them to the operating system (e.g., adjust rollback segments, define the tablespaces)SQL database tools, data restoration tools;SQL database connection tools and methodsSQL database languagesYou have knowledge of DevOps and continuous delivery and DevSecOps, Digital stack and platformYou understand the business issues involving data processingYou have knowledge of mathematics, statistics, probability and modelingYou are proficient in programming languages such as C and PythonYou have good listening skillsNICE TO HAVE:+ (Specific knowledge linked to the domain / product / project - to be filled in by Engineering Manager or Talent Acquisition)LIFE AS A THALES DATA ENGINEERING ROLEAs a Data Engineering Role within Thales, you will:Use your analytical skills to improve tools and techniques, thereby collaborating in the design and development of innovative solutionsEstablish technical documentation by gathering data and needsAct as an interface between the Data Engineering team, customers and other internal Thales contributorsDeploy DevOps and Continuous Delivery approach on a developmentDeploy Back End technologies (either programming languages or frameworks) incl PHP, ASP, C++, C#, Java, Python, Ruby, REST, MongoDB, PaaS...Associate the Tools needed to support day to day work of DevOps/ DevSecOps teams (such as Build/CI/CD, Source Code Repository, Artifact Repository, etc.) and ofManage and/or interact with a Cloud (Private or public), in any flavour of it (Infrastructure as a Service=IaaS, Container as a Service=CaaS, Platform as a service=PaaS)+ (Other specific info - to be filled in by Engineering Manager or Talent Acquisition)YOUR CAREER AT THALESFuture opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
