Due to tremendous growth and opportunity ASMPT SMT, is hiring an experienced Field Service Engineer to service and support our customers in the region. The primary responsibilities are to coordinate, manage, implement and /or perform service for new equipment installation, equipment and or system repairs.Key Responsibilities and Duties / Essential Functions:- Install and qualify ASMPT"s Proprietary Semiconductor Equipment for high precision interconnection technology for IC Packaging- Analyze, interpret, and make critical decision on process and equipment related issues.- Interface with customers to ensure issues are addressed on a timely manner.- Provide technical training at customers facility.- Support machine Installation and Qualification (IQ) activities as defined by our customers.- Perform other duties as assigned.- Understanding customer requirements to ensure system meets requirements and generate new business opportunities.- Submits on time reports required.Education and Experience Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree- Min. of 1-2 years' experience in IC Packaging and Assembly related equipmentOther Requirements:- Must be a self-starter with mínimal supervision needed.- Excellent hands-on skills and ability to navigate through complex problems.- Must be willing to travel up to 60% of the time. Travel includes both International and Domestic.- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical background.- Microsoft Office Suite competency preferred.- Knowledge and experience in die attach and TFS systems is a plus.- Proficient in the English Language is a must.- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.Ability to Relocate:- Aguascalientes: Relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
