We hope that you'll be interested in joining us**The role**:Watershed is hiring for an experienced recruiter in Mexico City to ensure a successful office launch, and continued investment, in our newest hub. You will be the first recruiter in the market as well as one of the founding members of our Mexico City office. The role will focus on cultivating strong partnerships both locally and with leaders across our global organization to find, attract, and retain the very best talent. You will partner with our Site Lead to drive alignment and talent strategy with a diverse set of stakeholders across the business, successfully establish our presence in Mexico City through hiring and employment branding, and help shape the culture of our office.Watershed is establishing a strategic presence in Mexico City, which will become a major hub for our global operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to join as one of the founding members of our Mexico City office and help drive our expansion, while adding to a stellar global talent team. Your work will make a significant impact not only on our business but also on global climate action.You might be a fit if you:- Have 5+ years of recruiting experience, including experience within a software company.- Have successfully recruited and hired for various technical and business functions in Mexico City as we will hire across all teams in market.- Are an excellent verbal and written communicator with strong English language proficiency.- Have great selling and closing skills.- Are passionate about solving climate change and excited to contribute to doing so at a fast-paced startup.- Have experience working at fast-growing companies and are comfortable with ambiguity.This role will be based in Mexico City and expected to be in office 4 days a week.**Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles)**Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York and London, and satellite offices in Sydney, Paris, Berlin, and Mexico City (opening summer 2025). Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week.
