Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing projects, guiding technical teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and driving innovation to achieve organizational goals.**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:- Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.- Set clear objectives, evaluate performance, and foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.- Develop talent within the team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.- Able to identify Department grow path to support the Corporation Casting Strategy.- Oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.- Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes.- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success- Provide technical leadership and expertise in engineering disciplines relevant to the organization’s products or services.- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to develop new products and improve existing ones.- Capable to design and/or solve problems in the following Engineering fields: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electronics, Mechanical and Electrical.**Preferred Skills and Experience**:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical), **no Industrial Engineering**.- Experience in a transformation metal mechanical industry preferred.- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in engineering roles with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead engineering teams, including project management experience.- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in engineering principles, design methodologies, and manufacturing processes.- Strong knowledge of Equipment and Facilities Maintenance.- Strong knowledge of SPC, FEMA’s.- Six Sigma Experience.- Experience in product development, innovation, and implementing engineering best practices.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.**#LI-GU1**We value diversity and are an equal opportunity organization.
