To ensure we have the right Procurement strategies and operational excellence to support business needs in value, service, innovation and sustainability.****A successful Markets Procurement Manager is expected to have the following attributes**:- **Entrepreneurial mindset**, treating the business as his/her own, strong commercial acumen.- **Creativity to ideate** win-win solutions, contributing to sustained competitive advantage.- **Able to mobilize teams (**internal and external) to achive commercial strategies, through strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.- **Balanced in Outstanding execution and Long Term strategy**, balancing short term operational agenda with evolving a longer term strategy.- **Thrives in volatility and ambiguity**, enjoys operating with agility to find solutions to open-ended challenges.- **Behave as a Partner with Purpose ambassado**r and demonstrate the value Procurement adds to the business.- **Genuinely committed to Unilever’s sustainably lead business model**, connected with Unilever and the business agenda.- **Talent mastery**, which includes: spotting, fostering, encouraging and retaining talent.**Key Accountabilities of the role are as follows**:- Procurement Business Partnering to Division- Represent procurement at senior platforms (CCBTs, SCLT, etc.), give timely inputs to the business and manage diverse senior stakeholders (CCVPs)- Part of local cross-function teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, etc) to deliver transformation & innovation projects, with fit-for-purpose Procurement strategies.- Financial delivery to Division P&L, through deep understanding on material price trends and forecasts, collecting and generation of savings ideas.- Operational Excellence in Service- Working with Factory and Planning teams to monitor performance and ensure service level from suppliers.- Operational level management of key partnerships to deliver against goals defined in coordination with portfolio teams.- Material crisis management as and when arising.- Building local insights on top of Expertise in the Global Procurement network- Consolidate knowledge on local market, including internal (business needs, category insights), and external (competitors, supply base, material opportunities).- Collaborate with Global / Regional Portfolio Procurement teams to translate local insights and into Portfolio strategy, to guarantee local relevance.- Collaborate with Global / Regional Divisions Procurement to transfer best practices, competitive benchmarking, land impactful innovations and value opportunities.- Work with Global X-Function teams to ensure process on long term Responsible Sourcing targets (SuSo, NDPE, Agricultural Code, RSP, Compliance etc).- Portfolio Management for local materials- End-to-End management of selected locally relevant ingredient materials, through supplier strategy definition, negotiations, and relationship management.- Deliver the Operation Cash Flow and Working Capital plans for the specific materials/services and suppliers.- Last-Mile (eg. Distributor) partnership and E2E commercial management.- Team and Talent Management- Lead by example in the transformation from Operational focus to balanced (Operational + Strategic) orientation of team.- Develop, coach and mentor resources within a motivated team, to achieve high pe
