As an EHS COORDINATOR, you will develop, implement, and ensure the maintenance of programs, systems and procedures vital to ensure the overall EHS performance of the business. Recommends and implements improvements in processes, design, procedures and/or operating equipment to minimize environmental, health and safety impacts.**Key Responsibilities**- Lead and control health and safety standards in accordance with EHSMS criteria.- Coordinate and ensure regulatory compliance with STPS legislation and lead the activities of the internal civil protection program.- Implement continuous improvement strategies in health and safety.- Supervise the accurate execution of high-risk work permits, pre-task risk analysis and align with Safety and Hygiene Commission tours.- Conduct and manage root cause investigations of incidents/accidents.- Manage the regulatory training program on the corporate platform.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in the field of EHS, chemistry, engineering or related sciences with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in EHS.- Validated experience in the chemical industry.- Knowledge of STPS regulations, accident investigation tools, Risk Analysis, internal civil protection program.- Intermediate / advanced English**ABOUT US**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
