Job Summary:The Claims Business Coding Supervisor II is responsible for managing the day-to-day direction of the business coding (backend processing) support staff. This role oversees the Inbound Subrogation for the entire Claims Department.Key Responsibilities:- Manages budgeting for the department- Creates objectives and metrics for the business coding staff- Supervises a staff of 8 to 15 employees- Integrates processes with acquisitions- Performs auditing functions and processes- Cross-trains employees- Provides coaching and conducts performance reviews- Performs special projects as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities:This job does have supervisory dutiesPreferred Qualifications:Education and Experience- 0-2 years experience- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations- NoneFunctional Skills- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charting, etc.- Excellent analytical skills- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)- Ability to make independent decisions- Effective verbal and written communication skills- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments- Strong understanding of the processes, the Claims Department and other departments within the company- Advanced Claims knowledge- Ability to successfully work in a high volume, fast paced, changing environmentIntegon, a Great Place to Work, provides innovative technology and customer support services to major personal lines insurance providers, including Fortune 100 companies rated A+ (Superior), by A.M.
