Together, let’s create the extraordinaryJob Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Juarez South, Mexico.- Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Management the Strategic Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for all customer interfaces on strategic supply chain/material for key assigned accounts.- What a typical day looks like:- Drive supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial competitiveness.- Participate in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.- Direct the activities of supply chain managers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs,- Interact regularly with executives, customers and vendors.- Present materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flextronics preferred suppliers.- Develop and leads implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.- Track materials financial performance, and initiate corrective actions when required.- Manage material cost reviews and drive initiatives to improve gross material margin.- Drive reconciliation process with customer (PPV, Premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete inventory, Non-cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR), etc.)- Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan.- Develop an implement cost take down strategies and increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Lead-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.- Other relevant task, as assigned..- The experience we’re looking to add to our team,- Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. A Master's degree preferred.- Experience with Supply Chain Management experience or related field, including broad -based management and supervision.- Excellent facilitation and organizational skills required.
