The focus of the role is to support the implementation of Seadrill’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements and the provision of best-in-class operational HSE support across the Area, preventing accidents, injuries, near misses, environmental impacts, asset damage and reputational impact.**JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES****Seadrill Management System**- Champion HSE and Operational Discipline including core areas of:Task Process - PIMED - “Plan - Identify - Manage - Execute - Debrief”Occupational Safety rules - Seadrill Safe ActionsProcess SafetyHuman Factors- Active, engaged and visible interactions with offshore management and crews via a ‘boots on deck’ approach, and with onshore management- Support the planning and execution of internal and external HSE Audits (Including ISM, Area HSE, Regulatory, Customer HSE Audits), and the close-out of Company-level Audits.- Engage with Rig Management and offshore employees as key point of contact for HSE matters, providing professional knowledge in and supporting understanding and implementation of HSE, ISM compliance, regulatory, customer/contractual requirements, and Seadrill’s HSE Management System- Ensure active collaboration with relevant Safety Officers and Medics as an integral part of the Area HSE team and HSE Function- Assist Rig Start-Ups, including early engagement with rigs and NOU/Projects, working with Rig Management and supporting the HSE Area Manager to ensure resources are identified and in place for effective pre-operations support and successful delivery of 3-months Operations Start Up HSE Program - including HSE Coaching teams- Carry out emergency response team duties as delegated by Area HSE Manager - defined in Level 2 ERP (Incident Management Plan)**Continual Improvement**- Presents conscious, sustained effort to improve HSE processes, tools, products and services by focus on continuous learning, sharing and recording of findings and best practices, and driving enhancement initiatives.- Ensure HSE performance data quality across various platforms- Consult with necessary stakeholders to plan and implement Red Rig Recovery Plans- Share industry good practices, lessons learned, safety and environmental alerts with Rig Management and Offshore employees, as necessary.- In collaboration with Rig Management, develop and execute Rig HSE plans- Operate as the point of contact for Synergi and ensure necessary actions are implemented and evidence is recorded in the system before being closed out.- Support Execution of Occupational Health / Industrial Hygiene requirements across the Area**Customer**- Collaborates on ensuring customer Bridging documents are in place and current- Support operations with engagement with customer as required- Engage with customer’s HSE teams and service providers**Industry**- Maintain SME knowledge of industry initiatives impacting Seadrill operations (e.g. DROPS)**HSE Regulations**- Know HSE regulatory requirements and regimes in Area of operations- Maintain engagement and strong working relationships with HSE regulatory representatives- Manage, maintain and participate (where appropriate) in HSE regulatory audits and rig close-out meetings.**HSE Team Development**- Supports development of HSE onshore and offshore employees’ performance and competence, engaging in the full employee cycle (including resourcing, performance, succession, etc.) to ensure the Rigs/Area has the right skills, knowledge and capabilities to operate under Seadrill standards and meet objectives**SAFETY AT SEADRILL****Our goal is to ensure that ‘nobody gets hurt’ whilst performing their job.
