The ideal candidate has strong Android development expertise, a passion for building scalable and performant mobile solutions, and thrives in a fast‑paced, remote environment. What You Will Do Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android mobile applications using Kotlin Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement new features Write clean, scalable, and well‑documented code following Android best practices Optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness across devices Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues and bugs Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing Stay current with emerging Android technologies, frameworks, and industry trends Work closely with distributed teams while aligning with Eastern Time working hours Your Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities 3‑8+ years of hands‑on experience in Android mobile application development Strong proficiency in Kotlin for Android development Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.) Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services Experience with version control systems such as Git Familiarity with performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones Ability to work effectively during Eastern Time business hours Only Resumes in English will be considered Why VEscapeLabs?
