Senior Master Scheduler

The Senior Master Scheduler oversees the function of scheduling activities, is responsible for balancing production and inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer delivery levels, inventory turns and goals and capacity utilization/staffing requirements. Essential Functions: Report finished goods and component items based on capacity requirements. (Rough Cut Capacity Planning). Communicate short and long-term customer production. Ensure timely output of product in response to customer orders analyse, address and communicate production issues in a timely manner; work to develop solutions and improve production performance. Calculate resulting requirements for raw materials, WIP, purchases parts and packaging based on MRP methodology. Publish and perform root cause analysis in Actual vs. Scheduled Production, Downtime and Company KPIs. Develop and lead efforts to improve or install new effective scheduling processes. Coordinate equipment repairs or maintenance with appropriate personnel with zero impact to customers. Plan, coordinate and execute product bank builds in accordance to company policies Participate in physical inventory. Lead Launch and Balance Out Reviews and execution. Participate in Engineering Change meetings. Required Education Level Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Management or similar. *Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions. Required Qualifications 5-7 Minimum Years of Experience within the field. 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry. Preferred Qualifications APICS certification preferred. Able to work in a rapidly changing environment. Able to process time sensitive information and orders to meet deadlines. Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to accurately communicate with co-workers and management, as well as external customers. Working knowledge of MFG, PRO, QAD, MS Office, Word, Excel, and Email.
