**Logistics PCT Lead**:Positions are open to Mexican Citizens and official residents of Mexico.Location: Guadalajara (hybrid)Strong English communica tion skills required.**Introduction to Role**:Join our dynamic Operations team at AstraZeneca as a Logistics PCT Lead. In this role, you will establish and maintain global standards and processes for the transportation and storage of all AstraZeneca pharmaceutical products. You will provide leadership to the Logistics Specialist and Logistic Analyst teams and support strategic and tactical initiatives within GLF and the PCT team. This is your chance to make a bigger impact on patients, a key reason to join us**Accountabilities**:As a Logistics PCT Lead, you will lead, develop, and coach a team of Logistics Specialists and Logistic Analysts. You will provide tactical and operational leadership, engaging employees in creating a sustainable Lean culture of continuous improvement. You will be accountable for managing and increasing the capabilities of your team through succession planning, development, coaching, and training. You will also lead and/or support the PCT team's input into GLF projects and initiatives. Are you ready to take on this challenge?**Essential Skills/Experience**:- A minimum of 5 years prior experience in the logistics area and in the distribution of products from a multi-plant/multi-distribution centre environment- Proven analytic skills- Good innovative problem-solving/investigational skills- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, teammate, with the ability to identify and communicate key issues for resolution- Sound understanding of Good Distribution Practices (5yrs experience) Safety, Health and Environment and Standard Operating Procedures- Experience in assessing risk in transportation lanes- Fluent in English**Desirable Skills/Experience**:- Extensive experience in technical support and quality management- Understanding of transport qualification, process validation, cold chain logistics industry standards, and validation compliance- Pharmaceutical/Bio pharmaceutical experience- Good working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry- Experience in Process Management processesWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
