**THE COMPANY**Our client is a fast global company which provides innovative molded plastics manufacturing solutions to healthcare, consumer package goods and light industrial vertical markets. Their business model enables our client to operate leveraging a high degree of specialization, extensive capacities in end-to-end design, production and assembly, and first-class references in high-end manufacturing.**THE POSITION**The Controller will manage the Finance and Accounting Department for the Tecate, Mexico manufacturing site. This individual will be responsible for budget management, monthly financial close, federal tax compliance, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, trade compliance, cash management including managing banking relationships as well as financial and risk management of the company. This position will be an active part of the site’s leadership team to ensure optimal operational performance. This position includes both managerial and tacticalresponsibilities. The position reports to the Regional Controller.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Oversee all A/P, A/R and general ledger accounting transactions in a high growth environment.- Plan, organize, and control all accounting in accordance with company financial policies and business processes.- Prepare consolidated income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flow monthly.- Manage annual financial audit with 3rd party auditing firm.- Prepare, oversee all tax statutory/compliance activities and returns.- Manage daily baking activities.- Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, including process improvements, inventory, audit support, etc.- Consistently monitor and review exposure to risk and communicate with senior management.- Recruit and develop accounting and finance team as transaction/activity levels require.- Perform other duties as assigned.**Qualifications/Education/Experience**:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- 10+ years of progressive accounting and treasury experience.- Degree in Accounting or Finance required.- Experience managing month-end close and banking relationships.- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.- Must be able to ensure accurate and timely results and work independently.- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively and professionally.- Strong Excel and strong system skills required.**Language Ability**:Ability to read and write in English, with solid understanding of proper grammar usage, sentence structure with average (or above average) spelling skills.
