As a software engineer specializing in products and services, you will bring a modern, agile development mindset to your work.What You’ll Do-- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and collaborate with fellow engineers to devise innovative solutions that align with technical standards and business requirements.- Follow engineering best practices, including all phases of the process from design to deployment.- Design, build, and maintain simple to medium solutions with a security first mindset.- Contribute to the opportunities for architectural improvements, optimizations, and innovations.- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.- Performs other related duties as assigned.What You’ll Bring- Intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset- Proficient understanding of how to use technology to improve business processes.- Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.- An ability to break down complex problems, identify gaps and risks, and provide reliable level of effort estimates.- Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and ability to maintain composure under pressure.- The flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, requirements, and priorities.- Good understanding of DevSecOps best practices.**Qualifications**:- BS/BA or equivalent work experience- 2+ years engineering experience in supporting or implementing Oracle CPQ, or other similar quoting tool.- Proven ability to develop and deliver software solutions.- Good knowledge of at least one high-level language- Understanding of agile and lean software developmentF5 Networks, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and strongly supports diversity in the workplace.Equal Employment Opportunity.
