TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.**What your background should look like**:Objetive: TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.Daily activities:1. train new employees on how to safely use equipment and correctly follow procedures.2.Organize production priorities on hours executed vs. planned.3.Identify problems in efficiency, suggest actions and establish them together with the corresponding team.4.Control the quality and quantity of production.5.Implement additional production plans for customer satisfaction, taking care of the integrity of the work team.6.Establish anti-routine exercise activities within your work area.Periodic activities:1. organize work flow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.2.Participate in TEOA events, as well as talks with your staff.3.Strictly enforce company rules and safety guidelines.4.Evaluate the performance of the workers under his charge and make a report to make appropriate decisions regarding the personnel carrying out production activities.5.Develop plans to be carried out and validated in order to continuously improve the rate of accidents, illnesses, disabilities or deaths in the work area.Experience in metal-mechanical and electronic industry.1.
