Finance Cost Analyst

We are revolutionizing the way the world moves for future generations, and we want someone who is ready to move with us.Finance Cost analysts will analyze and record manufacturing costs in a correct and timely manner, as well as inventory movements, in accordance with financial regulations, established policies and procedures, which allow generating information that supports correct decision-making. Cost analysts will partner with the Materials and operation communities demonstrating leadership to execute and accomplish objectives aligned and integrated with the business enterprise standards.Essential Responsibilities:In this role, you will:- Weekly report and analysis. Supports the delivery of complete cost packages, including impacts of changes with process or materials as related to current standard cost.- SOX IPE and audit documentation.- Support monthly pre-closing and closing activities- Std cost process (Buy&make), manufacturing cost.- Forecasting and reporting of project costs, Analyzing and providing explanations for any variances between forecast and actual costs.- Physical Inventory and Cycle Count Audits and SupportQualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance- At least 2 years of experience in costing- Fluent in EnglishSkills & Expertise required:- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks- Impact and Influence- Deliver Results- Great Organizational skills and attention to detail.- Organizational and planning skills.- Leadership- Analysis and solutions of problems- Orientation to the best continuous.- Communication / Negotiation Skills- Sense of urgency- Teamwork- Customer focusWho are we?- Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail as well as the mining, marine, and industrial markets.
