If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you’ll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**AVP, Americas Liquidity Analyst****Role purpose**:Global Treasury is building a regional team to support the Global Treasury function across the Americas region.This role, reporting into the Americas Head of Liquidity and Funding on a functional basis, will support analysis and insight of liquidity and funding for various operating entity and consolidated balance sheets. The incumbent will collaborate with team members and key stakeholders based in US, Canada, Mexico, and LATAM.The incumbent will:- Provide engagement and advisory support to Treasury, Business Finance, and Businesses and liquidity matters.- Analyze liquidity, funding, impact of business and strategic plans and actions.- Prepare, review, sign-off reports, analysis, commentary, and regulatory returns.- Determine requirements and ensure compliance with regulations and policy.- Collaborate with Markets Treasury, Treasury Risk Management, Global Internal Audit, and regulators- Participation in the preparation and review of documentation and reports for governance committees.- Build and maintain a detailed understanding of regulatory rules and assess impact of rule changes.- Support financial resource planning, operating plans, stress tests- Actively participate in the Treasury processes, including contingency, recovery, and resolution planningRequirements**Knowledge & Experience**- Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience- Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 2-5 years financial services or banking experience, with a background in finance, economics, and/or statistics/mathematics- Strong technical Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets- Ability to multi-task to ensure compliance with strict deadlines- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations- Strong attention to detail and solution orientation- Good knowledge of balance sheet, banking and financial products- Good knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM), regulatory reporting and the relevant changes in a global environment- Working knowledge of banking systems and relevant regulatory reporting frameworkYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBCAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
