Key Job Accountabilities:- Independently lead projects that involve the transfer of high complexity PCBAs, Sub-assemblies, and Higher Level Assemblies (HLA) into a Plexus Manufacturing facility. Lead all aspects of the project scope. Transition projects will involve any of the Plexus market sectors.- Create and lead the project timeline for a New Product Introduction (NPI) into a Plexus Manufacturing facility. Manage and lead the project team through any scope changes that occur during the project lifecycle. Lead the project activities that include product development, process development, test development, supply chain, quality requirements, and manufacturing work streams.- Facilitate, build, and grow peer to peer relationships across all Plexus and customer work streams.- Lead the overall project by ensuring project success factors are clearly communicated to the project team. Lead a cross regional project team, enable teamwork, and manage stakeholder expectations. Leverage relationships, tools, and processes to bring order to a complex situation. Anticipate and take advantage of potential risks and opportunities.- Own the execution of the project schedule. Facilitate the appropriate meetings and review activities to ensure actions are completed on time. Set up appropriate governance and report out on key project health metrics. Identify potential project risks and work with the project team to identify proper mitigation plans to address project risks. Review, monitor, and control the project execution to ensure key success factors are being accomplished. Work with the Business Development and Customer Management teams to provide input and support to transition and NPI proposals.Additional Accountabilities:- Report all projects/programs in the Global Transition SharePoint- Work with and lead global teams-- Support business development and quotation review process- Ensure a program management governance model is followed- Facilitate project/program review meetings- Monitor and control project execution- Escalate through proper channels the need for additional resources, project/program support, and risk concerns that impact project performance- Leverage Plexus Leadership Behaviors to support customer service, communication management, and project success- Works within the Plexus organization to design transition project teams, and leads wider teams when managing international programs- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to support business development solutions and new programs. Also works to manage customer stakeholder expectations- Travel is required typically up to 25%- Additional duties as assignedEducation/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred- 5 years of experience in manufacturing, business, operations, project management, technical or supply chain roles is required- Formal project management training is required. Pursuing PMP certification is preferred- CLSSGB - Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferredAn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications:- High computer skills and literacy- Project scheduling software (I.E.
