**SUMMARY**This position is accountable for the timely research and resolution of merchandise vendor disputes and inquiries in order to ensure proper payment and/or understanding of terms set forth in the vendor agreements. This includes fostering strong partnerships with the merchandise vendor, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and Merchandising throughout the resolution process.**RESPONSIBILITIES**Responsible for handling all aspects of individual vendor disputes.Assist in department-level process improvement projects.Participate and contribute to the key initiatives of the department.Analyze reporting to identify vendor non-compliance.Create and publish departmental metrics as assigned.**REQUIREMENTS**- **Level of formal education**: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.- **Area of study**:Accounting, Finance or Business Administration- **Years of experience**:2-3 years- **Type of experience**:- Analysis and problem-solving aptitude- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills**Other/preferred**:Strong human relations, teamwork, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
