Sourcing Commodity Buyer

**Sourcing Commodity Buyer****Purpose****Key activities and responsibilities**:- Identification of cost reduction opportunities through the study of historical and projected material consumption.- Interaction with the different functional areas (Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing) to understand business needs and ensure that this is reflected in negotiated contracts- Development of win/win relationships with suppliers to enable ECI to achieve the objectives identified in the business plan.- Analysis of direct material spend list- Classification of spend by category- Development of cost reduction plans and tactics aligned with category strategy- Execution of quotations and negotiations according to strategy- Implementation of long-term contracts that generate year-over-year price reductions- Assisting operational buyers in resolving supplier issues**Q**ualifications: *- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.- Fluent English**Experience, Knowledge and Skills**:- A minimum 3 years of direct material purchasing experience in some specific commodity or category- Experience in purchasing raw materials such as Mechanical and Electrical components, Cables and Accessories is a plus- Demonstrated Purchasing experience related to RFQ processes- Solid knowledge of benchmarking, volume spend and savings achievements and strategies development and implementation- Strong experience in high level supplier negotiations and competitive quotations and contracts management- Ability to analyze costs and understand material cost drivers- Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, and organization skills.**Primary Location**:Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mex.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $1.00 - $2.00 al mesTipo de jornada:- Turno de 8 horasPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Cuentas con experiência en negociación de contratos con proveedores de material directo?- ¿Tienes experiência en la compra de materia prima como componentes electrónicos o mecánicos?- ¿Cuentas con experiência para la implementación de estrategias y/o planes para reducción de costos y logros de ahorro?Educación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Compras de Material Directo: 1 año (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)
