Entry Level Electrical Engineer - Gas Power Kiewit Mexico is a subsidiary of one of the largest and most respected engineering and construction organizations, offering construction management and engineering services in energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining. Responsibilities Design and draft intermediate electrical drawings. Properly size cables and raceways. Perform layout of electrical equipment in electrical buildings. Develop 3D models utilizing drawings, sketches, and design skills. Check and navigate 3D models for interferences and constructability. Route electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate a cable schedule. Perform calculations to check allowable fill in conduits and cable tray systems according to NEC requirements and size pull boxes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in Design and/or Drafting disciplines with a background in electrical design focused on electrical drawings. Experience utilizing 3D programs such as Revit, Navisworks, or SP3D and knowledge of the latest computer operating systems. Ability to conceptualize in a 3D environment. Ability to work in a growing, adaptive and multi‑discipline team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
