The product portfolio of the Transportation business is relatively broad from small valve cartridges up to integrated systems with several valves. These products are mainly used in commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles.As a Senior Project Manager you are a key role within the global team to deliver our projects that include new product development, existing product support and VAVE.**Key Responsibilities**:You will manage projects from initiation to the start of series production. Key responsibilities include:- Create business cases and financial summary.- Present business cases and provide updates to Steering Committe.- Create and maintain project schedule.- Track project costs - labor, material, capex etc.- Follow APQP Toll Gate process.- Work with customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing and other cross-functional departments to overcome hurdles and keep project on track to completion within approved costs.- Support the global project management team initiatives - training, standardization of processes, use of common templates etc.**Critical Competencies for Success**- Bachelor’s degree with Project Management certification.- Fluent English indispensable- Approximately 5 years of project management experience in the production-orientated company.- Project management experience of launching prouducts from concept to serial production.- Experience in working within cross-functional teams and automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP).- Experience in MS Project and Excel.- Experience working within the** Automotive sector**is highly desirable- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and the ability to think independently following structured processes.- Collaboration and Influencing: Highly collaborative, with able to work effectively in cross-functional teams, to drive consensus and achieve objectives.- Knowledge of the design of electro-pneumatic systems.- Confident in dealing with customers and suppliers.- A high degree of initiative, independent, goal-oriented work.- High level of customer orientation with a commercial acumen.- Fluent in English writing and speaking.- Experience in working with global teams an advantage**Health & Safety**The physical demands described within the Key Duties & Responsibilities section of this job description are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
