Job Title: Solutions Engineer

Location: LATAM (remote)

Experience: 10-12+ years in the payments industry

A globally renowned payments firm is offering the opportunity for a Solutions Engineer with 10-12+ years of experience in EFT Switch, ATM, Cards, and POS to join their team.

Do you have deep knowledge of ISO8583, ISO20022, API gateways, and scheme integrations (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, local schemes)? If so, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities of the Solutions Engineer:

  • Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders to shape payment solutions
  • Conduct gap analysis, solution design, and technical architecture testing
  • Stay aligned with emerging technologies and recommend strategic changes
  • Mentor and coach team managers and leads, ensuring technical excellence
  • Support developers and testers in delivering high-quality solutions
  • Manage key customer relationships for business-critical projects
  • Oversee project governance and security compliance
  • Drive automation and efficiency improvements in project delivery
  • Open to travel for critical business engagements

Key Requirements for the Solutions Engineer:

  • Payments Infrastructure: EFT Switch, ATM, Cards, POS
  • Messaging Standards: ISO8583, ISO20022
  • APIs & Web Services: API gateways and integration
  • Change Management: Full lifecycle expertise
  • Scheme Expertise: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Local Schemes
