Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Responsible for the completion of long‑term IT engineering projects. Performs engineering evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. 2. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION(S) : Be specific. Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents that affects the local IT environments for compute, telephony, LAN and MAN Networks. Support and deployment of user's requests and changes to the IT Infrastructure environment based on ITSM best practices. Monitor and perform required activities to meet ITSM SLA and Security Report requirement levels based on ITSM statistics, Monitor Servers, and Security console reports. Perform continuous systems and equipment changes and updates based on analysis of results. Installs new software releases / system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs troubleshooting and resolves issues for sites, departments or user related voice or data services. Develops, implements and performs variety of system administration tasks via commonly-used concepts, best practices, and procedures for daily operations of network infrastructure systems. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity, and Performs system backups and recovery. 3. OTHER PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES : Receives instructions and follows pre-established guidelines to handle special projects. Provides updates at meetings. Coordinate and direct outside vendors or contractors on a project basis, maintenance or problem resolution. Provide functional and technical leadership to junior team members. Plan, recommend and implement hardware and software solutions for future integration into regional or global infrastructure. 4. EXPERIENCE : 1-3 years related experience. Enterprise business level experience for deployment, support, management and troubleshooting of : Windows PCs, Automatic Software and Operative System deployment, Laser and bar code Networked Printers, Windows Active Directory, Linux and Windows Servers, Data Users data backup protection for Business continuity and disaster recovery, VMware Virtual environment, Cisco Switches, VLAN routing, secure isolation of legacy Operative system networked PCs, Wireless Sensors and Access points, Cisco Voice and data and video systems, Secure Mobile device configuration, IOT devices as temperature meter or IP base CCTV devices, Page and Sound and Environmental Monitoring equipment. 5. EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline 6. DIMENSIONS : Systems will depend on division 7. PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT : Be specific. Typical office environment, with occasional exposure to elements such as noise, dust, cold and heat. Some elements are occasionally present which makes conditions less desirable than usual in an office environment. Able to securely climb a 16' ladder o usage of an electrical elevator. Capacity to hand carry a CPU or a monitor.
