F&E Inventory all equipment from Parent plant (and all associated facilities/operations) including Dollys, GFRs, Dolly Lifts/Tilts, Risers, Tilt tables, Turntables, etc b. Dock Assessment - Coordinate and lead a health assessment of all exterior dock positions, ensuring that the docks are capable of accepting the plan of record material flow for the program (racks, dollies) - Determine the age of all docks, docks older than 20 years most likely will need to be replaced - Determine the state of all dock wells and their capability to accept Over the Road "On-Wheels" Dolly Delivery including the pitch/grad of the docks both for the trailers and inside the building, the dock plate's flare c. Determine which of the above can be reused as is, needs major or minor repair or needs to be scrapped d. Applied Handling is the go-to provider for Dock related Issues e. Coordinate and lead a health assessment on any major F&E equipment planned for reuse on the new program. B. Station Readiness/Install a. Manages Station Readiness Leads to ensure that all equipment is appropriate for safety/ergo, holds the proper number of containers per material flow via PFEP, functions as intended, is standardized across the program, meets CoC standards. b. Leads coordination with the plant and launch teams on buy-off of equipment designs/builds/installation including: WPI Teams, IE, Safety/Ergo, ME - Facilities, ME - Tooling, MLM Rack and Containers all of this prior to Release for build and in a timely manner to meet launch timing set by the program manager and material flow specialist. The same process is duplicated upon completion of build and prior to shipment to plant. Assists plant with SMI 105 buy-off process upon delivery to plant. - GFRs and specialty equipment should be prototyped during WPI Loop 1 and demonstrated to the team then sign offs should be acquired. c. All equipment assignments, RFQ, REQ, PO, Release and Install information must be kept up to date and in real time in the PFEP/Station Readiness database (MS Access) provided by STELLANTIS. - This should be a living document and considered the POR for the program. - Additional supplemental documents can be maintained with the idea that PFEP/Station Readiness database can be improved and/or modified with the consent of the proper CoC member at STELLANTIS. d. Build Process - Develop SOW and Bid Specification for equipment 1. For non standard equipment include AM/PM calendars, Parts List (SPL), operational instructions, etc. - Get Quotes (RFQ) 1.
