Reports To: Logistics Manager and/or General ManagerRole SummaryThe MRO Buyer plays a critical role in supporting CCM’s operational continuity by managing the procurement of indirect materials, maintenance supplies, and services. This position oversees purchasing operations, contractor engagement, and contract lifecycle management to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely sourcing aligned with company goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing & Procurement- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for MRO and indirect materials.- Solicit and analyze quotations to ensure optimal value and quality.- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with vendors.Contractor & Contract Management- Coordinate onboarding and oversight of contractors for maintenance and operational services.- Draft, review, and manage contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and operational standards throughout contract execution.Supplier Relationship & Performance- Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and service providers.- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues proactively.Purchasing Operations- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.- Collaborate with accounting for invoice reconciliation and payment tracking.- Maintain procurement documentation and support internal audits.Data & Reporting- Analyze purchasing trends and supplier metrics to support cost-saving initiatives.- Generate reports to track spend, supplier performance, and contract status.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with finance, logistics, warehouse, and compliance teams to align procurement with operational needs.- Support customs brokerage and ITC compliance during import processes.- Support overall operation purchasing needs, production, process, maintenance, etc.Logistics & Inventory Coordination- Ensure timely receipt and inventory control of MRO materials.- Address urgent maintenance needs with rapid sourcing and contractor mobilization.Policy & Compliance- Enforce procurement policies and procedures.- Validate specifications, budgets, and terms with internal stakeholders prior to purchase execution.Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Idustrial Engineering or related field.- Minimum 4 years in purchasing or procurement, in a manufacturing environment.- Experience with MRO planning, contractor oversight, and international trade compliance.- Exposure to factory startup or rapid-scale operations is a plus.- Supplier relationship management ( RESPSE, EHS Compliance, Financial compliance, Contract management).- Financial audits.- MRP Implementation.- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).- Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Technology oriented.- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.- Analytical mindset with focus on cost control and process optimization.- Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools.Tipo de puesto: Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vida- Servicio de comedor- Uniformes gratuitos- Vales de despensaEscolaridad:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Compras: 4 años (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
