-Job descriptionOperations is tasked with ensuring we can align ourselves organizationally to help drive these expansion initiatives while at the same time ensuring we manage day to day controls in a robust manner, paying particular attention to the complex regulatory environment. The Analyst MSS Operations fulfill to deliver on commitments with local regulators, support and maintain the efficiency of processes and controls in MSS Operations functionality, projects and internal and external customer service.In Mexico, the MSS business lines of FX, Securities and Derivatives are supported by an Operations team.- Support trade lifecycle for all Back Office products: FX, Securities and Derivatives.- Ensure accuracy of trade capture, timely execution for settlements and trade lifecycle events- Booking verification, new trades pre match confirmation, confirmation, settlements, payments conciliation.- Prepare all the regulatory reports required by the authorities.- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system development & enhancements.- Ability to support Cross Border Transactions- Perform other job-related duties as assigned- Effectively manage operational risks- Comply with Local Regulations.- Maintain the HSBC Group FIM standards and ensure satisfactory or above audit ratings are achieved.Leadership & Teamwork- Work with peers to generate a synergy inside all MMS Ops (Markets Securities Services Operations) teams- Have an excellent relationship with the business and another support departmentsRequirements**Requirements**:- Working knowledge and technical understanding end-to-end processing for markets products: FX, Equities, Derivatives and Fixed Income products (affirmation, confirmation, settlements, accounting).- Knowledge and understanding of local regulations.- Knowledge and understanding of operational risk and controls.- Fluent englishAt HSBC, we expect our people to treat each other with dignity and respect, creating an inclusive culture that promotes equal opportunity.
