Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Video GenAI Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. Our client is a U.S.-based startup developing an AI-driven platform for video and multimodal communication. The product enables businesses to record videos, automatically generate transcripts, translations, summaries, and action items, while also ensuring content authenticity through proprietary “Seal of Authenticity” technology. This role requires deep expertise in computer vision, generative AI, and distributed training. You will play a key role in designing and implementing advanced AI models for video generation, processing, and analysis, ensuring scalability, performance, and innovation. Requirements 6+ years of experience with PyTorch. 7+ years of experience with CNNs. 8+ years of experience in Diffusion Models and GANs. 7+ years of experience with Variational Autoencoders (VAEs). 7+ years of experience with MediaPipe and dlib. 6+ years of experience with OpenCV and FFmpeg. 4+ years of experience with MediaPipe Pose and OpenPose. 5+ years of experience with TensorFlow.js. 3+ years of experience with AWS Rekognition. 4+ years of experience with a vision transformer (ViT). 4+ years of experience with optimizing inference (ONNX, TensorRT). 3+ years of experience with PyTorch DDP, AMP, and Gradient Checkpointing. 5+ years of experience in vision research & architecture design. 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL & NoSQL Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and within distributed teams. Strong motivation to innovate in video AI and generative model. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML models for video and multimodal applications. Work with computer vision techniques, including CNNs, vision transformers, and generative models (GANs, Diffusion Models, VAEs). Implement facial and pose detection/landmarking using frameworks such as MediaPipe, dlib, and OpenPose. Build scalable pipelines for image and video processing with OpenCV and FFmpeg. Optimize inference workflows using ONNX and TensorRT. Conduct distributed training with PyTorch DDP, AMP, and gradient checkpointing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into the platform. Mentor junior developers and contribute to AI research and architecture design.
