Staff Project Manager Engineer

**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Understand the Operational needs of the organization considering Product Management, Operations, Materials, Supply Chain and Engineering.- Take project from outline stage. Analyze and develop objectives and solutions to fit the Industrial footprint requirements.- Propose a cost-effective solution for the project and obtain buy-in/approval from the owning Industrial sub vertical.- Reduce cost, lead-times and improve quality by consideration of the total picture and do what is best for TE Connectivity.- Ensure that transfer projects meet the agreed footprint requirements.- Work with functional managers as needed to meet project objectives and on-time deliveries.- Hold core team members accountable to assure predictability.- Support the removal of barriers to assure project commitments will be met.- Report regularly on progress to plan.- To ensure detailed action plans for all transfer / other projects are created by allocated Project Engineer and correct procedures are followed.- To ensure project plans are realistic and cost effective.- To monitor and suggest adjustment of plans to meet the required schedules.- To take the appropriate action when problems occur, raising concerns to the next level of Management if required.- To perform any other tasks allocated by Management.**What your background should look like**:- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic or related engineering discipline- English Communication Skills- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on business transformation and operations migration, working with internal and external customers.- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects, meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.- Experience in managing and executing transfer and migration projects and green field projects.- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication.- Confidence in communicating to senior management and customers.**#LI-Remote****Travel: 10-25%****Type: Remote-México.****Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
