**Proto Process Engineer - ASUX**Aptiv's advanced safety and user experience business unit is dedicated to creating innovative solutions that enhance the safety and convenience of vehicle systems.**Your Role**Aptiv is seeking a Proto Process Engineer to join our team in Reynosa, Tamps. The Process Engineer will play a crucial role working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective solutions. In your daily job you will:- Support product launches from DV- Provide people and equipment resource to support proto/engineering builds, capability studies, safe launch (GP12) activities, etc.. and feedback build findings such as design/test/supplier related issues.- Provide engineering resource to support & to be trained during MQ1- MQ2.- Support and report day-to-day activities to improve/maintain production SPQVC KPIs (such as equipment OEE, FTQ, etc)- Drive continuous improvement, cycle time improvement and support Kaizen activities.- Work with QE to resolve and implement corrective actions for Line-Pull, Warranty and Plant Returns.- Be the customer interface for technical discussion on process-related issue after series production- Supporting team members of production meetings (DPM, Operations review, MRVA, Quality review, Escalations, etc.)- Own, maintain & fulfill master PM schedule & optimize process machine up-time.- Plan and conduct LSR, documentation, close findings & share lesson learnt.- Own and maintain Pre-PFMEA, error proofing and PFD from Pre-series production.- Support IE on the site capacity planning needs and ensure equipment/tooling suffice to meet customer volume.- Own, purchase and install equipment/line/tooling for capacity increase needs.- Hiring and training of process engineering staffs to support series production.- Attend the regular PDT meetings and drive a proper escalation in case of problems, based on LME request or even on representation- Plan and conduct LSR, documentation, close findings & share lesson learns data base with LME globally**Your Background**Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or Industrial Engineering- English fluent- Automotive experience is a must- +5 years of experience as Manufacturing or Process Engineer**Why join us?**- **You can grow at Aptiv. **Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs.- **You can have an impact **.
