Proyect Engineer

Summary:Manageprojectsand cross-functional teams ensuring operational and administrative compliance of each project considering the internal requirements of CVG and the customer. Ensure new project meet timing and cost targets.Main activities and responsabilities- Coordinate and follow-up the activities of the assigned projects.- Risk mitigation management and issue tracking.- Ensure compliance with internal CVG and customer requirements regarding documentation for each project.- Ensure compliance with the operational scope of the projects (Cost, OI, capacity)- Manage the construction of new molds and equipment for new projects.- Responsible for the manufacturing and shipment of prototypes for validation with the customer.- Review BOM, cost BaaN/ Mapics, FMEA, work instruction, control plan- Lead cross-functional teams in the preparation of PPAP documentation, quality reports & run at ratesEducation/Experience/Skills- Program management and direction skills- Communication at different levels of the organization- Teamwork- Two years of experience in a similar position- Technical knowledge of specific processes (According to your projects)- Knowledge of specific customer requirements (According to their projects)- Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and Core Tools- Ability to read technical drawings.Language Skills- Fluent English: written and spoken.- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, staff across companies.- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and customers.Mathematical ability- Mathematical skills, for calculations of efficiency, consumption, turn times, capacity, cycle times, etc.- Mathematical skills for problem solving and information analysis.Reasoning Skill- Deductive reasoning expert- This position requires the ability to organize thoughts and priorities under considerable pressure.- Must be able to reason and solve problems based on technical understanding of needs and procedures- Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions- Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variablesSkills Computational- BaaN/ Mapics ERP System- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.- MS Project- Auto-CAD desirable- Minitab an desirableCVG IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERCommercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.Visa SponsorshipCommercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) does provide sponsorship for employment visa status based on business need.
