Bilingual Accountant

**Job Description Summary**:This position will lead the financial activities within the site operations, which includes analyzing financial data and manufacturing variances, generating reports, and any other special requests in order to provide an accurate financial picture of how the business is functioning, per location. This position reports to the Operations Accounting Manager.**Duties and Responsibilities**:The duties and responsibilities of this position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:**Job Requirements**- Serve as a business partner to facility management to provide operational and strategic guidance as required- Analyze financial data and make appropriate monthly accruals- Assist with reconciliations to maintain accurate financial information, ensuring all accounting practices are in compliance with all relevant accounting standards, state and federal regulations, and Curt Group values and practices- Gather financial information and assist in financial audits- Compare and analyze financial differences between actual/budget/prior year and determine differences and/or needed adjustments- Analyze and report on production variances and make needed adjustments to ensure accuracy of reporting- Assist with the budget and forecasting process and provide support for the other cost centers when budgeting- Monitor inventory adjustments and resolve issues as needed- Final cost reviewer for new product development- Audit item set up for data integrity and resolve input issues with appropriate teams- Assist with the tracking of fixed assets for the plant and report any additions or disposals- Other duties as assigned**Competencies**:- Customer Focus- Decision Quality- Conflict Management- Developing Talent- Results, Action Oriented- Building Team Spirit- Process Management**Requirements**:- Work Experience: 2-5 years of related experience within a similar capacity- **Education**: BS/BA in related field or 4 years of related experience- **Computer Skills**: Experienced working with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)- **Organization Skills**: Demonstrated organizational, process and analytical skills; ability to produce accurate and quality work with a fast turn around and a sense of urgency- **Cross-functional Skills**: Ability to work well cross-functionally; engages and builds effective relationships across the organization; provides professional, timely, and proactive internal and external customer service- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to influence and possess organizational savvy; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information; ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal skills- **Problem Solving Skills**: Resourcefulness; excellent problem solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions- **Physical, Mental, and Visual Skills**: Ability to read, write, type; sitting and standing for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day- **Physical Environment**: Normal office environment; potential of exposure to moving equipment, if not proper safety procedures are not followed- **Travel**: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time**Preferred Qualifications**:- **Education**:Accounting Degree or MBA- **Computer Skills**:Prior experience with Mapics or AS400 and a proficient level experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Vales de despensaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono de asistencia- Bono de puntualidadEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- posición similar: 3 años (Deseable)- MAPICS: 1 año (Deseable)- AS400: 1 año (Deseable)Idioma:- Inglés 85% (Deseable)Licencia/Certificación:- visa laser vigente (deseable) (Deseable)
