Villa de García Km 3.0, Santa Catarina, 66350 MexicoSupplier Quality Engineer**Summary**Supervises the execution of Supplier Quality & Development objectives. May lead a team of Technical / Business Support or entry level professional Quality employees. Sets day-to-day objectives for the achievement of immediate Supplier Quality & Development goals within area of responsibility.**Profile**:- Bachelor degree (MBA consider +)- 3 years experience in managing SQA position or previous experience on Quality area- Fluent english- knowledge in ISO 9001 (consider a + IATF 16949)- Proactive and Self directed- Team player and agent of change- Supervises processes related to Supplier Quality & Development initiatives, including supplier qualifications / certifications, assessmentss, monitoring, escape management, and / or quality issue resolution processes.- Supervises implementation of supplier specific quality initiative strategies.- Supervises Supplier Quality-related activities, such as raw material assessments, design of contracted manufactured items, and / or materials packaging; ensuring service providers and laboratories employ good manufacturing practices (GMP) and procurement practices meet or exceed requirements.- Supervises processes or standards in support of the Carrier Supplier Gold program, ensuring healthy continuous improvement and sustainability.- Supervises processes to ensure that supplier is capable to meet all requirements for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (UPPAP) acceptance.**Minimum Requirements**Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process executionUniversity Degree or equivalent experience or equivalent experience and specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices**Carrier is An Equal **Opportunity/Affirmative** Action Employer.
