**Years of Experience**:0-3 years of experience supporting a Finance team, taxes, period-end adjustments, financial reporting and treasury processes, is not required but will be an added advantage.Desirable experience/knowledge in Record to Report processes and experience of working in a shared service center across a global/large organization.**Education:Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with concentration in Accounting or Finance.The R2R Junior Analyst has good understanding of procedures within own area, and may resolve issues using own judgement within well-defined practices and precedence, serving Brazil, CARCAAN counties and the CoE as the internal R2R SPOC for Controlling area.**Required Languages**:**Language****Proficiency**EnglishSpokenSpanishSpoken- Execute the day-to-day activities according to the highest standards of financial control, compliance and best practice.- Ensure quality and accurate delivery of services within agreed KPIs and as defined in the SLAs.- Follow the instructions of the Senior/Pleno Analysts and Managers regarding the daily work coordination.- Develop knowledge and capability to raise competence to expected levels to meet current and future business needs.- Contribute process and technical expertise to process improvement initiatives.- Accountable for the professional support that is due to customers to ensure a high tier customer satisfaction level.- Build strong collaborative networks with key stakeholders and ensure good/adequate communication- Maintain and adhere to record to report procedural documentation.- Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules.- Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.- Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget.- Supports in analysis and preparation of statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.- Reports to Record to Report Process Manager.- Plays an additional key role as the CoE’s R2R point of contact for Ingenico’s controlling area.The Junior Analyst is responsible to input the tax provisions in SAP for both local and Group accounts. Due to the need of expertise in calculating local taxes, these activities are to be performed by the local finance teams. For some period end closings Group defines effective tax rate to be used. In this case, the CoE team has to book it according to Group instructions.**Adjustment and Period end (Taxes)**:- ** Receives Group guides for tax closing and Extracts Balance sheet SAP.**- Receives Group guides for tax closing.- Extracts balance sheet from SAP.- ** Inputs current taxes and tax provisions in SAP for both local and Group accounts****Banking and cash management**:The Junior Analyst is responsible to input journal entry (Debit to banks and Cash pooling).- ** Inputs journal entry: Debit to banks and Cash pooling**:- ** Adjustment and Period end (Period end closing)**:The Junior Analyst is responsible to close books in SAP. In order to do this, Local Finance Teams must review the carried forward GL balances and any other adjustment realized by the CoE, before closing the period in the ERP.- ** Closes assets period and executes forex (if applicable).**- Settlement of internal orders.- Runs depreciation.- Reconciles Assets to FI.- Closes assets period.- Executes Forex and performs assessment cycle.- ** Opens future period and carries forward AR/AP and inventory balances.**- Opens future period in Period posting table.- Opens future year for assets.- Carries forward AR/AP and inventory balances.- ** Transfers results to Equity and Carry forward GL balances.**- Carries forward GL balances.- Creates the document: carry forward GL balances.- Transfers results to Equity.- ** Notifies Local Finance Teams of closing.**:- ** Closes Period in period posting table****Financial statement presentation and disclosure (LAR)**:The Junior Analyst is responsible to update GL with the information provided, consolidate financial reports and send information to the external audit. The financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows) and notes to the financial statements must contain all the necessary information that Ingenico´s group need to make the business decisions.- ** Updates GL with the information provided.**:- ** Consolidates financial reports.**:- ** Sends information to the external audit.****Business unit reporting package**:The Junior Analyst is responsible to inform actual numbers for cash and debt report, perform closing activities, generate IRF report, run controls and solve blocking
