Requisition ID: 24947Job Location(s):Santiago De Queretaro, MXWe have an immediate opportunity for a **Plant Buyer **to join us at our diverse team. The Plant buyer will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted supply of materials to support production, new products, projects and sales.**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- Receive new components requirement for prototypes according to SCM directions or projects team.- Actively participation to support new Launches or engineering changes: Outside processing suppliers process definition, materials quotations, materials planning process.- Purchasing new components for prototypes and new projects/engineering changes according to SCM/Cost Out team directions- Support the Cost Out / Pro Launch /Projects & SMC area with new projects on direct/indirect purchasing- Quotation & develop the service parts & Punctual follow up of quotation process.- Attending all production/ planning issues with suppliers- Provide support in new projects and engineering changes with the quotations and the status of the components- Review Purchase orders for direct/indirect parts, Review Mark View to solve invoices on hold and all issues reported for suppliers- Develop and maintain ethical supplier relationships which foster a continuous improvement environment, and promote cooperation with Danfoss.- Analyze, Planning and require the raw material of new parts for new projects and/or engineering changes- Avoid production line shut down due to lack of raw material.- Manage Phase In / Phase Out to avoid obsolete material- To resolve all the discrepancies of shipments- Monitor inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives are met**Background & Skills**:- Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or similar- Desire for 3-year experience as plant buyer- _Advanced english is a must_- _IATF knowledge is preferrable_- APICS CSCP (Desirable)- _Negotiation and leadership skills_- Evaluation of risks skills- MRP knowledge- Technical knowledge of bill of material structuring, schedule execution, and inventory management**Danfoss - Engineering Tomorrow**:At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
