Puebla, Mexico As a Virtualization and OS Engineer, you will be responsible to maintain Service Level Operations and Agreements with customer, by focusing on troubleshooting incidents and bring services back as soon as possible, fulfilling all requests coming from the customer, providing definite solutions to problems identified by customer, processes or internally and being accountable of network changes. General Accountabilities 24x7 IOC Event Management and Availability Management using N-able and Axios assist; ITSM ticket tool for alert tracking Incident Management (Levels 1 and 2). Adhere to IT Engineering Operational and Security Standards and recommend improvements. Perform Root Cause Analysis ("RCA") and corrective actions. Escalation Management. Management for approved change requests. Availability, Performance, and Capacity Management reviews and implements approved changes. Patch management reviews. Upgrade management reviews and implement approved upgrades. Special Change Request Management as installing new IT Asset, upgrading, migrating, decommissioning, or replacing an existing IT Asset, as approved by Engineering ('Complete' Managed Service Block only). Shift-Left for Engineering activities to the Service Provider team, where possible or appropriate. Job Qualification : Education Bachelor's degree required in related field; Master's degree preferred. ITSM certification preferred, ITSM foundation training required. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology. Experience in hypervisors like VMware ESXi (advanced) and Microsoft Hyper-V, cloud virtualization platforms, residing on-premise or in third-party data centers, hyper-converged infrastructures ("HCI"). Cisco UCS for computing and networking, Dell EMC Isilon NAS for storage, and VMware ESX, vSphere, and vRealize Operations for virtualization estimated. Compliance with Operational and Security Standards regularly using defined KPIs. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). Expert analytical and problem-solving skills. Works well in a fast-paced team environment; able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Effective collaboration with remote and distributed teams. Hands-on, team player with a clear emphasis on being able to work independently, driven and enthusiastic. Self-motivated to continuously expand professional knowledge. Professional with good organizational skills. Experience working in a company going through significant growth and associated maturing of processes. Outstanding organizational skills.
