Duration: 3-6 months (Likely extension based on performance and business needs)Location: Mexicali, Mexico (Need basis travel) Objective: Deploy a data analytics professional on-site at our Mexicali factory to: Conduct Gemba walks and understand manufacturing processes Identify operational improvement opportunities through data Provide near real-time visibility into factory operations using descriptive analytics The resource will: Be physically present on the shop floor to observe and understand operations Translate operational insights into data-driven opportunities Build descriptive analytics dashboards and reports Identify disconnections between business processes, applications, and data Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, including line operators, team leads, and leadership Work with isolated systems and ensure analytics are as close to real-time as possible Not just visualize data, but also source, model, and transform it for meaningful insights Technical Requirements: Technology Stack: Microsoft ecosystem; Power BI (strong expertise required); Microsoft Databricks; SQL Server (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS familiarity is a plus) Must understand end-to-end data flow: from source systems to modeling to visualization Experience working with real-time or near-real-time data in manufacturing environments Domain & Functional Requirements: Strong domain knowledge in manufacturing operations Comfortable working on the shop floor and engaging with operators Ability to “think in data” — interpret operational challenges through a data lens Should be able to collaborate with existing Client BAs and SMEs who may not have a data-first perspective Not necessarily a full-fledged manufacturing BA, but must speak the language of data and operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
