Execution Engineer Engine Assembly

Other responsibilities will include:- You will analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes- You will propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area- Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area- You will keep regular contact with partners outside the work group- You will provide direction to small group of technical employees- You may evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment**Additional Job Description****Description**The "individual contributor/technical expert"process engineer for a CME program. This Engineer will have responsibility for specifying, procuring, and qualifying the assembly system to produce engines. This position requires a person that can interact within a high-performance team environment, but also able to work autonomously in the new hybrid work environment.Responsible for supporting the following activities related to Engine Assembly:- Manufacturing process definition,- Completion of SOR- Working with OEM to complete SE- Supporting OEM during build phase of equipment- Responsible OEM and Plant MRO- Responsible for Documentation to include, but not limited to...PFMEA, Control Plans, GRISK.- Providing technical direction to and oversight of outside vendor sources- Responsible for providing transition to Execution Engineers**Qualifications**Basic required- Deep technical knowledge and ability in process engineering for Engine Assembly- Understanding of Error-Proofing- Knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles- Demonstrate excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.- Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others- Ability in project management skills and willingness to coordinate activities in cross functional teams- Manufacturing Engineering experience in engine and/or transmission Assembly.- Travel FlexibilityBasic preferred- Demonstrated understanding of plant floor and product design manufacturability- Multiple different ME assignments with successful individual achievements or strong team-based achievements- Plant experience preferred- Application of GMS and 4 walls within the site or program- Technical Problem-Solving AbilityEducation- Bachelor's degree with major in engineering or equivalent experience.Location can be any plant in GM Mexico, traveling will be required to Warren, MI**About GM**Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.**Why Join Us**We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
