**Description**:Coordinates activities to ensure the quality of the product that is manufactured, reports quality statistics of each of the production departments, in charge of customer service for non-conformities, supports the different production departments in making quality decisions.**Key Responsibilities**:- Ensure safety in his/her area, use assigned safety equipment, and comply with internal work regulations- Wear electrostatic discharge protection equipment where required.- Manage and respond to external and internal customer complaints.- Analysis of Material Returns (RMA) monitoring and closing the rework required.- Manages Product Rework as required.- Product Repair Team Leader (when applicable).- NCR management, tracking, and closure- Keeps the Production Supervisor and Area Engineer informed of quality issues.- Generates weekly informative reports on the quality status by department.- Contact and communicate any quality improvements or fixes in the product or parts to our Suppliers, Franklin Electric plants, and corporate offices- Reviews weekly the publication of DPPM and FPY graphs in production areas.- Responsible for developing the Acceptance Criteria for products and component parts in conjunction with the Quality Manager, Manufacturing Engineers or Product Engineers.- Define together with the manufacturing engineers the inspections to be carried out in accordance with the requirements established in the GFI's, EMS, Drawings.- Responsible for preparing the Material Receipt Inspection Plans for each part number that is received in Receipt Inspection.- Responsible for the Product/Process Control Plans.- Show commitment, directing and supporting the people in their charge to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality system- Promote and communicate the results and/or effectiveness of its processes, as well as the actions and/or reaction plan when they are applied- To meet the quality objectives of the position and support the company's strategic objectives.- Comply with all the guidelines of the Quality System.- Keep company tools and equipment in good repair, clean, and safe to work with.- It performs its work with quality, complying with the required standards, minimizing the risk to the company due to complaints and rejections due to poor quality products.
