Wabtec has been doing that for decades and we will continue to do so Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, Wabtec delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.The Monterrey Manufacturing Finance Leader will own financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting financial performance of the Monterrey Equipment Manufacturing plant, including $12+ USD million in functional expenses, $10+ USD million inventory and $20+ USD million in P&E Assets. This role will also support the operations team across all involved areas (Production, EHS, Engineering, Quality, Materials & Sourcing). The employee will be expected to drive operational excellence across the Freight Equipment business in Mexico while maintaining and improving processes and controls.This role will have a strong relationship with the Plant Manager and direct staff, demonstrating leadership to execute and accomplish the objectives defined by the business. In this role you will also be responsible to generate accurate financial information in accordance with the local financial regulations, established policies and procedures, which will support the business’ efficient decision-making.Essential Responsibilities:In this role, you will:- Lead the financial analysis, forecasting and reporting for the Apodaca manufacturing plant.- Weekly reporting and analysis. Consolidate financial & operating metrics, analyzing key drivers,- Identify risks and opportunities and help architect actions to accordingly mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities- Partner with Operations teams to develop value generating & executable operating plans, and lead in the delivery of those plans.- Provide business leadership clear visibility to possible outcomes through forecasting accuracy and articulating risks & opportunities.- Support monthly pre-closing and closing activities- Identify and share best practices across sites and financial operations. Eliminate waste through standardization and consolidation of duplicate processes.- Drive working capital improvements in AP management and inventory strategies. Lead project analysis for best cost decision making and overall return on invested capital (ROIC).Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. (Preferable STEM or Accounting/Finance)- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Finance- Fluent in EnglishSkills & Expertise required:- Strong Communication and leadership skills- Demonstrated analytical, process, and problem-solving skills- Results-oriented problem solver with the ability to work well under pressure.- Knowledge of Lean concepts and how it applied to shop floor and finance processes.- Good interpersonal skill and a team player- Customer focusedWabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges.
