Project Compliance Coordinator

As a result, our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world.The Project Compliance Coordinator will be working in conjunction with multiple stakeholders including Project Manager(s) on a number of projects for our high-profile commercial client. We are looking for someone who can produce work independently, work collaboratively and have experience in delivering as a consultant in a client facing capacity. The role is Mexico City based.The Project Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting Project Managers in the delivery of a range of construction projects across Mexico and Latin America**Education/Experience**:- Experience in working in the construction industry and/ or project coordination experience.- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a Project Compliance Coordination role or Document Control role. Ideally your experience will be in Commercial Office or Retail projects.- General understanding of the procurement process and contract types for appointing a General Contractor, Engineer and Architect.- Experience managing and inputting information into a shared database.- Experience establishing purchase orders, budget variations, and payments to vendors.- Proficient with collaborative software including SharePoint.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular a strong understanding of PowerPoint and Excel.- Ability to problem solve and manage client expectations.- Polished individual who demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.- Passion and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative high paced environment.- Commercial awareness - ability to recognize business opportunities based on Turner & Townsends wider scopes of service delivery**Qualifications**:- Information technology capability - Adequately proficient on the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel), SharePoint and Oracle experience is desirable. Training will be provided for client software packages.- Data quality compliance - Responsible for the integrity of project data in client systems, as well as adherence to compliance guidelines.- Project support services - Provide system, accounting, process and compliance support and oversight to the project management team during all aspects of a project’s life cycle, including:- Working with Project Management staff to collect project data and check accuracy and ensure it is reflected correctly in all client systems- Understand and ensure compliance policies are followed appropriately by Project Managers including reporting on project’s compliance status- Process emergency requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, and invoicing from vendors in client systems- Transfer key project financial and schedule information into client systems- Monitor and enforce client compliance guidelines with respect to all vendor engagements and highlight any exceptions to these guidelines.- Assist Project Management staff in closing projects with the client accounting group- Work with Project Management staff and project vendors to maintain their compliant status in the client’s supplier database and project management system- Manage project records according to client document storage policies- Contribute to continuous improvements through highlighting any areas where project delivery process can be improved- Provide support and training to project coordinator team overseas to help resolve issues and concerns**Additional Information**:- Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
