**Job Title**: Avaya Phone System Configuration - IT Contractor**Position Type**: Contract**Location**: Remote**Duration**: Contract basis - Project basis**Position Overview**We are seeking an experienced IT professional with specialized expertise in **Avaya phone system configuration and administration**. The contractor will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our Avaya communication systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations across the organization. This role is project-based and requires a hands-on professional who can deliver high-quality results with mínimal supervision.**Key Responsibilities**- Manage system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure security and functionality.- Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Avaya voice systems, hardware, and integrations.- Collaborate with internal IT staff to assess business requirements and implement system enhancements.- Provide user support and training for Avaya system functionality as needed.- Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.- Ensure compliance with company IT standards, security policies, and industry best practices.**Qualifications**- Proven experience configuring and managing **Avaya phone systems** (Avaya Aura, Avaya IP Office, or related platforms).- Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and telephony systems.- Familiarity with call center features, reporting tools, and system integrations.- Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and documentation abilities.- **Relevant certifications (e.g., Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS) or Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS)) are a plus, but not required.****Contract Details**- **Compensation**: Open for negotiation.- **Schedule**: Flexible, based on project needs.- **Reporting To**: CEO/COO**Job Type**: ContractPay: From $50.00 per hourWork Location: Remote
